HAD BETTER

Hi, on this post I am going to explain about that 'Had better'. Had better it's like "Should", but when we used 'Should' it's like a recomendation and it's happend nothing if you don't do that, but Had better if you do not make that it's dangerous.
  • Should: a good thing to do in general.
  • Had better: a good thing to do now.

STRUCTURE

  • Had better + simply verb
  • Had better + not + simply verb
  • Hadn't + I/He/She/We/etc + better + simply verb

EXAMPLES

  • You had better go to the school because it's 7.45am and you enter at 8.00am and there isa lot of traffic.
  • This meat smells bad, We had better not eat it. I Will go to book a table at Tacos Inc. 
  • It's rain a lot of. Hadn't We better go inside? The house is dry
